Fate

Left RAF Mildenhall for the last time on 18 January 1990 and was ferried to Offutt AFB on 20 March 1990 for the SAC Museum; moved to the new museum at Ashland in the late 1990s.

Where the record disagrees

Move date to the Ashland building: Baugher says June 1997; sr-71.org says the new museum was built in 1998. A search-engine summary attributed "first operational sortie, 942 sorties, 2,981 hours" to this airframe, but those figures belong to 61-7976 (NMUSAF); do not use them for 61-7964. The old museum domain sasmuseum.com now hosts unrelated content; use sacmuseum.org.
